Flood Relief activity at @ParshiGutta

I.B.Tech & II.B.Tech students actively participated in the flood relief activity in associate with T-News Channel and local GHMC corporator Mrs. Sanjannamma at ParshiGutta, near Hussensagar area. Students and faculty members distributed milk and biscuits to the flood effected people and created awareness to keep away from disease.

Orientation programme for I B. Tech. students

As part of the orientation programme for the freshman I B. Tech. students motivational lectures were arranged to create awareness and a proper direction in their four year engineering education journey.

Mr. Narasimha Reddy, Director Nuclear power corporation, an eminent Electronics engineer, motivational speaker delivered an inspiring lecture in the programme. 

Mr. Bhaskar Sastry, Senior Delivery manager for SAP practice, IBM-Hyderabad delivered an inspiring lecture on present day world and future creative and innovative world, and also insisted students to think always out of the box projects execution and implementation in the programme. 

Dr. Pattabhi Ram, Mind Magician , Psychologist, delivered an inspiring lecture on helping students to overcome their Stress & Fears, and how to achieve the desired success in the four year journey of engineering education . 

The student representatives of various clubs & forums and professional organisations of the college interacted with their junior friends briefing them about the aims and objectives and various activities conducted in the campus. 

All the students are given orientation by the HoDs and the senior professors of the respective departments in the afternoon session of the day.

 

First year B. Tech Induction Programme was held on 4th August, 2016. About 300 students along with their parents attended the programme. Chairman-Sri Kommuri Pratap Reddy, Vice Chairman-Kommuri Prashanth Reddy, spoke about the vision and objectives of the management and urged the students and their parents to make maximum use of the infrastructure facilities, state-of-the-art laboratories resources available at the college. Principal Dr. Ravi Gujjula, Dr. GirijaRam explained to the students the systems and practices followed to transform the students into all round professionals. Dr. S. Naga Kalyan-HoD, Mechanical Engineering, Dr. G. Bhaskar-HoD, H&S, Dr Jagga Rao-Dean R&D, and Mr. Hemanth, TPO also spoke on the occasion.

70th Independence Day Celebrations

This year in 2016, 70th Independence Day celebrated to pay tribute and remember all the freedom fighters who had contributed a lot and fought for the Independence of India at KPRIT campus with full of patriotic fervour and gusto. Vice Chairman Kommuri Prashanth after unfurled the flag and took the pledge along with the students and faculty to join hands for global peace and harmony. Principal Dr Ravi Gujjula spoke about the need of sustaining the spirit of the freedom movement in order to protect the nation from various internal and external threats and the assembly concluded with the National Anthem...

KPRIT lecturer series (KLS) organized by CSE, ECE & EEE Departments:

Conducted a guest lecture on “Software industry overview and future opportunities and How to prepare” by Mr Gopi Krishna, Teach Lead, Infosys, Hyderabad. Mr Gopi provided a brief explanation of how a student can improve coding skill and software development life cycle. This session exposed the students about nature of work in the software industry and exposure to the type software projects such as support, implementation & Upgrade

 

15th July 2016-Haritha Harmam

A massive tree plantation programme was held at KPRIT in the backdrop of ‘Haritha Harmam’ initiative by the Government of Telangana. Mr. Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagavath IPS, Police Commissioner, Cyberabad East, graced the occasion and delivered an inspiring speech about the significance of taking up tree plantation on a huge scale and the role of educational institutions and the young students in making this programme successful.Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Principal, all HoDs, students and several faculty members enthusiastically participated in the tree-plantation programme as a part of Haritha Harmam.
