The department is equipped with project laboratory with an area of 100 SQM. which has been established with well equipped systems of latest hardware configuration and modern open source software technologies. The facilities provided in the project laboratory are as following:

  • The Project laboratory offers students an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience with modern software technologies to develop various innovative software prototypes.

Project Development Process

All the projects are evaluated and shortlisted by the project coordinator and supervisor on the basis of their oral presentation, demonstration, report and viva-voce.

The following procedure is adopted for project development

  • Grouping of students (maximum of 3 or 4 in a group)
  • Allotment of projects and project guides
  • Project monitoring at regular intervals to improve the output
  • Periodical project review process
  • Establishing common norms for final documentation
