Our comprehensive CRT program covers not only programming languages like C, Data Structures using Python, Full-stack, and Java but also emphasizes aptitude and verbal skills. By participating in CRT sessions, students gain the necessary skills to excel in company assessment tests and coding challenges during placements.
  • Moreover, we take technical training seriously right from the first year. In the initial year, students dive into the world of programming with C and C++. We encourage them to solve problems on platforms like HackerEarth, tackling different levels of complexity within defined time frames. This practice cultivates a habit of problem-solving, sharpens their analytical abilities, and prepares them for real-world challenges.
  • Our commitment extends beyond the classroom. Through strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with reputable training organizations like Smart Interviews, Xplore, Logik Works, we provide students access to external trainers and internal experts. This collaborative effort ensures that our students receive the best technical training, equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in the competitive job market.
  • MoU with Infosys: Our institute has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Infosys, a leading global technology services company. As part of this collaboration, we utilize the Infosys Springboard portalto provide online content and virtual training to students across all academic years. The platform offers a wide range of resources, including courses, tutorials, and industry insights. Through this initiative, students gain valuable knowledge and skills, enhancing their readiness for the dynamic IT landscape. Whether in their first year or final year, students can access relevant content and stay updated with the latest industry trends.

3. Internships and Placements

Coordinating internship opportunities and placement activities to provide students with hands-on experience and job opportunities.

  • AICTE, EduSkills, and Internshala: The AICTE Internship Enterprise Portal facilitates experiential learning through internships. KommuriPratap Reddy Educational Society is actively registered with AICTE, EduSkills, and Internshala. This program bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, enabling students to gain industry exposure. By participating in internships, students enhance their employability, develop essential skills, and build connections with organizations across India.

4. Curriculum Enhancement

Involving industry experts in curriculum development to ensure that academic programs align with current industry trends and needs.

  • The involvement of industry representatives in the Curriculum Enhancement Program is crucial for bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. Mr. Aniket Banerjee, Product Manager at Microsoft, and Mr. Abhishek Doijode, Lead Campus Hiring at Virtusa, serve as key members of our Curriculum Design and Industry Interaction Committee. They bring valuable insights into the latest industry developments, ensuring that our curriculum remains relevant and up-to-date. Their contributions help in aligning our academic programs with the practical demands of the industry, thus preparing our students for real-world challenges.
  • Additionally, the Internal Industry Committee (IIC) regularly invites top technical and non-technical senior members from various industries for routine interaction events at our college. These events provide a platform for industry experts to share their expertise and suggestions, which are meticulously followed to enhance our curriculum. This ongoing interaction with industry professionals ensures that our students receive education that is not only theoretically sound but also practically applicable, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their careers. The continuous input from industry leaders helps in fostering an environment of innovation and excellence, making our graduates highly sought after by employers.

5. Industry Visits and Expert Lectures

Arranging industry visits, guest lectures, and interaction sessions with industry professionals to expose students to real-world practices and innovations.

  • Industry visits are crucial for students to gain insights into how companies operate. Over the past few years, our institution’s Industry Interaction Cell (IIC) has organized visits to companies such as Virtusa, Nalsoft, Quadrent Technologies, and ADP. These visits help us bridge the gap between academia and industry, enhancing our understanding of real-world practices.

6. Knowledge Sharing

Promoting the exchange of knowledge and expertise between academia and industry through joint conferences, publications, and technical collaborations.

  • Industry Engagement:As part of our industry engagement initiatives, we organize industry visits specifically for final and pre-final year students. Additionally, the Institution-Industry Cell (IIC) invites industry representatives to participate in Coding Competitions and Hackathons, where students gain valuable insights and practical experience. These events foster collaboration between academia and industry, preparing students for real-world challenges.
  • Guest Talks & Webinars: As part of our commitment to industry engagement, we regularly invite distinguished industry professionals to share their insights and experiences with our students. These guest talks and webinars cover a wide range of topics, from emerging technologies to career advice. By interacting with experts from various fields, our students gain valuable knowledge and a deeper understanding of industry trends.
  • Contests Participation: We actively encourage our students to participate in contests organized by companies. These contests serve as excellent platforms for students to showcase their skills, compete with peers, and solve real-world challenges. Whether it’s coding competitions, hackathons, or design challenges, participation in these events enhances students’ problem-solving abilities and prepares them for the competitive job market.
  • Mock and Assessment MOUs:We believe that national-level mock assessments are crucial for preparing students for upcoming placement drives. To ensure their readiness for various companies, we have signed MOUs with organizations that provide national-level mock assessments based on industry standards. These assessments also offer national-level rankings to candidates. This streamlined process helps our partnered companies reduce recruitment time and hire top talent across India. We currently have MOUs withCocubes, AMCAT, and FirstNaukri.
  • MoU with CodeTantra, our college’s chosen interactive teaching platform, plays a pivotal role in enhancing our engineering students’ coding skills. By providing a comprehensive platform for practicing coding exercises and taking mock tests on various topics, CodeTantra prepares students for real-world challenges. Its user-friendly interface and extensive question bank ensure that learners gain practical experience and build confidence. As a result, our students are better equipped for placements and excel in technical interviews.

7. Feedback Mechanism

Collecting feedback from industry on student performance and using it to improve academic programs and training methodologies.

  • The Internal Industry Committee (IIC) believes in continuous improvement, as we recognize that there is always room for growth. The best way to understand our current standards is by obtaining feedback from our end users. For us, our ultimate end consumers are our recruiters. Whenever a company visits for hiring, it is our standard protocol to gather feedback on various parameters, such as students’ technical skills, non-technical soft skills, aptitude, attitude, college infrastructure, and the ability of IIC representatives to arrange and communicate effectively.
  • We value this feedback greatly and do not treat it as a mere formality. After receiving feedback, whether positive or negative, we conduct thorough analyses and implement necessary changes to address identified areas of improvement. We follow a specific format suggested by the NBA and NAAC committees to ensure a structured and comprehensive approach. By acting on the valuable insights and suggestions provided by our recruiters, we strive to enhance our standards continuously and ensure that our students are well-prepared to meet industry demand
