Dr. Kashyap holds a Post Doctoral Degree from University of South Florida, USA, MBA from Indian Institute of Management Kashipur and earned his doctorate degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from C.U. Shah University Gujarat and Masters from SRM University, Kattankulathur Campus at Chennai. His expertise has led to a robust portfolio of publications in respected international journals and Authored Books marking him as a thought leader in modern engineering challenges.

Beyond research, Dr. Kashyap has demonstrated a strong commitment to quality-based education systems and outcome-based learning. He has pioneered initiatives in curriculum development and faculty training, focusing on innovative teaching-learning strategies and
skill-based learning. His efforts have significantly improved student learning outcomes and have established a collaborative culture among faculty and staff. A life member of ISTE and active in IEEE and CSI, Dr. Kashyap stays engaged with cutting-edge advancements in his field through continuous learning and professional certifications. His global perspective is further broadened by his postdoctoral research on AI-driven big data classification at the University of South Florida, USA.

According to him “In education we make minds; in industries we produce things. This establishes the fact that minds come first and industry is next, and thus its importance.” Being a man of great achievements, Dr. S. Sreenath Kashyap “love(s) to work in the education-industry, because what I (we) make is minds that eventually produce the world, which is a reflection of the mind I (we) make, and this is a beautiful activity.”

Dr. Kashyap has contributed to the academic community as a PhD supervisor, guiding research in areas like VLSI, Microwave Engineering, Antennas and AI based Sensor Technology. His commitment to knowledge dissemination is evident from his frequent participation as a speaker and workshop convener, where he shares insights on topics in Emerging Trends and Technologies and Quality Initiatives in Engineering Education. He has organized and attended numerous faculty development programs (FDPs) and workshops to foster professional growth and collaborative learning within the academic community.

In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Kashyap holds several patents showcasing his ability to translate research into practical applications. Dr. Kashyap’s leadership, research contributions, and dedication to fostering academic excellence make him a transformative force in the engineering education landscape. His strategic approach, coupled with his passion for innovation and quality, underscores his influence in advancing both his institution and the broader academic community.

He believes it is important that ‘as educationist (teachers) pay our deepest attention with clarity to young minds at various stages of education design, delivery and evaluation. Since our students function as carriers – they enable pollination, extension, and growth of our thoughts, utilizing their creativity (student) to think-design of the next possible.
