Dr. C.D Naidu is working as CEO KPRES and distinguished academic leader, researcher, and administrator with over 40 years of experience in engineering education, institutional development, and academic leadership. As the Chief Executive Officer of Kommuri Pratap Reddy Educational Society (KPRES), he is driving the institutions with a vision of academic excellence, innovation, research, industry collaboration, and holistic student development.
Prior to joining KPRES, Dr. Naidu served as the Principal of VNR VJIET, Hyderabad, for over 15 years, where he played a key role in establishing the institution as one of Telangana’s leading autonomous engineering colleges. Throughout his career, he has held several senior academic leadership positions, contributing significantly to accreditation, research, outcome-based education, and institutional growth.
He holds a Ph.D. from JNTUH, along with an M.Tech in Instrumentation & Control Systems and a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering. His expertise includes Signal Processing, Image Processing, Embedded Systems, Neural Networks, and VLSI Design.
An accomplished researcher, Dr. Naidu has published 60+ research papers, guided Ph.D. scholars, contributed to funded research projects, and actively promoted innovation, faculty development, and industry-academia collaboration. His leadership continues to strengthen KPRES as a center for quality technical and higher education.
